  1. Retention of title

 

Products from Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts remain the property of Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts until the customer has paid.

 

No product will be delivered until the customer has paid the purchase amount to Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts.

 

  1. Payment

 

At Gliding Dutchman you can always pay safely in the webshop via Ideal, Paypal or credit card.

You can pay for a surfboard repair via bank transfer, Tikkie or cash.

After an order or repair you will receive an invoice by email.

 

Our website security has an SSL quality mark (lock in the URL bar), which means that your data is always handled very securely.

 

 

  1. Product display site

 

On the site of Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts ( www.glidingdutchman.nl ) we show our products as clearly as possible. Even then, products can differ in reality from how they are in the photo.

 

  1. Returns

 

You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason.

After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return your product. If Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts has received the product in its original state, you will receive the full order amount back as soon as possible using the same payment method you used to pay.

The shipping costs for returning a product are at your expense.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts with all accessories supplied and in the original condition and packaging.

You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the use of the goods or the establishment of the functioning of the goods.

The reduction in value of the returned product will be determined by Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts and charged to you.

Custom surfboards cannot be returned.

  1. Repairs

 

Repairs are done by Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts within the agreed time. If this is not possible for Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts, they will contact you in the meantime.

 

Costs for a repair will be discussed with the customer before Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts starts the repairs. If new damage is discovered afterwards, the customer will be contacted.

 

  1. Surfboard warranty

 

Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts produces its own surfboards from materials of the highest possible quality. Even then, we as makers of Gliding Dutchman surfboards do not rule out that our surfboards are resistant to mechanical damage, scratches, heat damage, broken fin boxes, dings, dented parts or discoloration. We cannot offer a guarantee against the above-mentioned damages because surfing and possibly transporting our surfboards can have a major impact on the boards we sell. We have no control over these circumstances. For example, even the circumstances during surfing in small waves can lead to a board sustaining considerable damage. In addition, it must be said that minor damage (for example: mini ding) can lead to much worse damage if this minor damage is not repaired in time.

 

Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts reserves the right to define the damage to products itself. Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts therefore determines how bad the damage is to the product in question.

 

As surfers we do not like to see damage to our boards and will accommodate you in a reasonable manner if damage occurs.

 

When purchasing a board produced by Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts directly from Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts you will receive one mini ding/small surface damage for free. By a mini ding/small surface damage we mean a crystal crack/surface fracture where the inner white foam of a surfboard is not exposed.

 

 

  1. Accepting the order

 

When you place an order for products on our website, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order request. This does not mean that we have accepted your order, even if we have received your payment.

 

We will email you when we have accepted your order. At this point a contract will come into existence between us.

 

In some cases we cannot accept your order. When it is impossible for us as Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts to accept your order, we will let you know by telephone or e-mail contact. Examples of situations in which we cannot accept an order:

  • The product you ordered is out of stock.
  • When unplanned circumstances prevent us from accepting an order
  • When we have identified an error in the price or description of the product.

 

 

  1. Liability

 

After purchasing a product from us, you agree that we as Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts are not liable for any damage or injury that may occur when using our products. If you do not agree with this, please contact Gliding Dutchman Surf Crafts before purchasing the product.
